Maine Writers Series: Dan and Leslie Landrigan
If the walls of Mount Desert Island’s mansions could talk, the stories they’d tell would fill a book. Most of the mansions are gone, but the book Bar Harbor Babylon is here. Murderers, thieves, cheaters and scammers have all made their mark on the tiny towns of Mount Desert. Bar Harbor Babylon takes readers on a tour of the misadventures and misfortunes that punctuate the island’s wealthy and privileged past.
Dan and Leslie Landrigan are the writers behind the New England Historical Society.
