Turkish & Greek Cuisine Workshop: Part One

This two-session, six-hour workshop will include discussion about authentic ingredients and techniques used in cooking dishes of the Aegean region of the Mediterranean Sea. Participants will work together to prepare, cook, serve, eat and enjoy the delicious, nutritious and healthy dishes.
Hale AKIN ASYALI, born and raised in Izmir (Smyrna) on the coast of Aegean Sea, will share her experiences about cooking methods, eating habits, and culinary culture of people of the region.
October 15, Tuesday, 5:00-8:00: Turkish Cuisine
October 22, Tuesday, 5:00-8:00: Greek Cuisine
The classes will take place at the Wilson Museum in Castine.
Limited to 8 participants.
