Tinkering with Stories
Taught by Debra Orado. Ages: 4 to 7 accompanied by a parent or care provider.
Tinkering is learning with your hands and brain and is process driven, which means there is always room for more exploration of ideas. Projects have room to evolve and use familiar objects in unusual ways. Many of this summer’s projects take their inspiration from the Exploratorium Museum in San Francisco. The Exploratorium is a museum that combines science, technology and art.
This weekly program will involve read-alouds and tinkering activities or science-related projects that mirror the storylines in the books.
