Starting at the Kitchen Table: A Poetry Workshop
Date: August 2, 2022
Time: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
During this 90-minute poetry workshop, we will examine poems by Joy Harjo and Pablo Neruda that reflect on the impact of tables in our lives and then share food and kitchen memories that lead us to writing about those experiences. During this summer of Deborah Joy Corey’s Breaking Bread publication and the arts events associated with it, it seems a perfect dovetail to create poems that focus on this highly evocative theme.
Limited to 15 participants. Led by Johanna Sweet.
