Halloween Pumpkin Book Character Viewing & Voting
Visit the Witherle Memorial library to see the amazing collection of pumpkins that have been turned into book characters from some of your favorite books. The children from the Adams School have created book character pumpkins as part of the 2nd Annual Pumpkin Book Character Contest.
The pumpkins are on display in the reading room and community members and students will be able cast their vote for the pumpkin that best represents a book character. Viewing begins October 27th and runs through October 31st. The winner will be announced on November 1st.
The winner will receive a gift certificate, generously donated by the Out on A Whimsey Toy Store in Blue Hill. Come in and join the fun, reminisce about your favorite children’s book or character.
