The Friends of Witherle Library will hold their annual meeting on Saturday, October 14 at 11am outside following Storytime. We’ll be spoiling your lunches with Fruit Snacks and chips, and children will receive crayons for their Storytime craft project. We will have a very short business meeting to approve the newly revised and streamlined By-laws and to elect officers. Friends members will have one vote per family. A copy of the By-laws will be available at the front desk beginning Monday.

Most important, however, we’ll be celebrating the long-awaited installation of the generator the Friends have donated! Many, many thanks to Debby Neve, who saw this project through from start to finish. In the event of power outages, our collections will now be safely preserved, and our staff will not freeze.
