The brown-bag lunch group practices conversational French over lunch led by Castine resident Marie-Laure Reed. Born in France, Reed has traveled the world for work and for pleasure and recently retired to Castine. The group is sponsored by the library and the Castine Arts Association.

All French-speaking levels are welcome to attend. During the first hour, Marie-Laure will direct her attention to the more fluent speakers while others listen. Following that first hour, she will happily address any specific questions regarding understanding or grammatical issues.
