Join us from 10 to noon each Friday throughout the 100 Day Project t to share information about the individual projects and to encourage each other. The group meets in the Community Room.

The library along with a group of Castine residents is sponsoring the local component of the 100 Day Project, a world-wide effort that encourages people to explore their own creativity.

The Castine 100 Day Project is open to anyone and, according to organizers, the idea is simple. Choose a project, do it every day for 100 days and share your progress with other community members. Although the project promotes creativity, individual pursuits do not need to focus on art. Deborah Neve, Julie Bohan and Lynn Cooper are facilitating the project.

The projects can be anything you choose to do for 100 days: take a walk, write in a journal, cook a new recipe, do yoga, sew a quilt block, doodle in a sketch book or take a photo of yourself each day with a different person in Castine.
