Boston Bookfest’s One City, One Story citywide read is coming to Castine. This year’s selection is Grace Talusan’s The Book of Life and Death.The library has printed copies of the story which will be discussed in a moderated ZOOM discussion.

About the Author

Grace Talusan is the author of the memoir The Body Papers, a New York Times Editors’ Choice selection, a Must-Read for the Massachusetts Book Awards, a Foreword INDIES Finalist, and winner of the 2017 Restless Books Prize for New Immigrant Writing. Talusan was born in the Philippines and raised in New England. She graduated from Tufts University and the MFA Program in Writing at UC Irvine. Talusan is currently the Fannie Hurst Writer-in-Residence at Brandeis University
