Join Witherle Library and Healthy Peninsula for the first in a three-part series, “Ageless at Home”.

Darren Smart, a licensed occupational therapist of Technology Helps ME, will cover smart home management and how to use accessibility devices at home.

What does this mean?  Basically, 1) where to place a smart device, 2) how to configure these devices to contact a loved one if you can’t reach the phone, and 3) how to use smart devices to live safely and comfortably at home.

Darren will have time for your questions, too.

Best of all, the UMaine Center on Aging has donated Amazon Echo Dots, voice controlled devices using Alexa, for all participants!  You’ll leave knowing how to use it and safer for it.
