Castine was named a recipient of a $49,000 Hometown Grant from T-Mobile to create a Storywalk in town. A Storywalk is combines literacy and physical activity by displaying pages from a children’s book along a walking trail. Native plants will line the path located at the intersection of Spring and Court Streets. Much of the lot will remain an open meadow. This project has been a three-year effort on the parts of the library, the Castine Garden Club, the Adams School, the Wilson Museum and the Recreation Committee.
