Welcome to the opening of the 41School Street Gallery located in the Witherle Children’s Room at the top of the stairs. The goal of the gallery is to foster and display the creative and artistic talents of young patrons. Artwork could take the form of photographs, watercolor, acrylic, weaving, fabric, collage or other modes of expression. To find out more about how to participate please see Ms. Orado.
The inaugural display features the photography of Olivia Settles, a 5th grade student at the Adam’s School. Olivia’s photos are a series of images of the moon that she took over a period of time from her house in Castine using her phone.
Olivia’s photographs are on view during regular library hours through January 31.
