Castine Through the Eyes of Its Poets: Writing with a Sense of Place

This year’s poetry group, lead by Johanna Sweet, will examine how this village and area influenced four Castine poets: Louise Wheeler, Russell Bourne, Philip Booth, and Robert Lowell.
We will discuss a selection of each poet’s work as we explore how Castine affected them both similarly and differently and we, too, will engage in writing, using Castine as our lens
