The Witherle Library Foreign Affairs discussion group will meet by zoom only on Wednesday, December 6 from 5-6pm. As the Israeli-Gaza conflict continues the topic will be on the outcome to date, including the US diplomatic efforts, and the spectrum of views on what could come after the hostilities. The readings suggested below come from a variety of US voices, as well as Arab and Israeli voices.  Those marked with an asterisk are lead recommendations.  When reading, imagine you are the lead negotiator looking for common themes where agreement might be possible.
