RFP SUMMARY: Witherle Memorial Library, located in the Town of Castine’s Historic District, seeks a qualified contractor to scrape, repair (where needed), caulk, reglaze (where needed) all exterior windows. Windows vary in size, from small basement-access units to original three-panel units on the main floor (images attached). Three large, curved storm windows on the Court Street side of the building need custom-built replacements. The project must be completed by November 1, 2026. The contract will be awarded pursuant to The Town of Castine, Purchasing Policy (2021).
