The Fan Brothers, a quartet of magical picture book authors and illustrators whose books include, The Night Gardener, Ocean Meets Sky, The Barnabus Project and the newest sequel entitled, Barnabus Unboxed!  The illustrations are rich and the writing is where folklore,fables and fantasy meet.  The brothers’ path to creating picture books might seem a little unconventional, but it is just their brand of creativity that produces picture books which continually pull in readers. 

How do they do it? Their stories can jump from one place to another: from a t-shirt design that eventually became The Night Gardener, or a careless doodle from thirty years ago that grew into Lizzy and the Cloud. To paraphrase their words, the next story may be waiting in the most unlikely place.

I suggest you go on a journey with the brothers by coming into the library and immersing yourself in one of their stories.
