SUMMARY:Lantern Walk at the Castine Community StoryWalk
DESCRIPTION:Witherle Memorial Library will sponsor a lantern walk from 3:30
 -4:30 p.m. on Friday\, Dec.5 at the town’s StoryWalk at the corner of Co
 urt and Spring streets.\n\nLanterns will be available for participants to 
 use to take a self-guided walk at dusk through the Castine Community Story
 Walk. The individual stanchions that hold the pages of the December story 
 also will be gently lighted. Participants can take home their lanterns onc
 e they’ve completed the walk.\n\nThe featured StoryWalk story for Decemb
 er will be Bear and Wolf\, written and illustrated by Daniel Salmieri. In 
 this story\, Bear and Wolf\, out for nighttime walks\, cross paths and dec
 ide to hike together\, first through snowy winter vistas\, then later thro
 ugh green springtime fields. The book demonstrates the importance of  pea
 ceful companionship and mutual appreciation of natural beauty. \n\nFor mo
