 ehood based on the life of Cora Page\, a once-famous nineteenth-century Sp
 iritualist.  Based on real people and events during the Civil War era\, T
 he Seraph moves between the glamour and the dark of the seance room\, into
  the worlds of frauds\, true believers\, political radicals and charlatans
  in the tumult and tragedy of its era and poses questions about the nature
  of truth and faith that remain relevant today.\nJane Goodrich is also the
  author of another much-loved work of historic fiction\, The House at Lobs
 ter Cove. Both books will be available for purchase and signing. The event
