DESCRIPTION:Join Johanna Sweet for an evening of poetry writing and discuss
 ion.  Annex Arts has invited Maine poet Julia Bouswma to visit Castine th
 is summer as one of its artists in residence.  On August 7\, Julia will s
 peak at the Castine Arts Association’s Literary Symposium\, and in antic
 ipation of that presentation\, this workshop enables participants to share
  their reactions to Julia’s book Midden\, a remarkable collection of poe
 ms that explore the Malaga Island tragedy in Maine. The second half of the
  workshop will focus on composing original work prompted by this collectio
 n of poems.\n\nCopies of Midden are available at the library desk. Partic
 ipants are encouraged to read it prior to the August 4 workshop.\n\nLimit
 ed to twelve members.  Please contact the library to register.
